Project Background
Han Dynasty tombs were not only burial sites but also material expressions of the cosmology and religious beliefs of their time. This project uses multi-sensory technology to recreate the spatial experience of Han Dynasty tombs in a virtual environment.
Research Methods
Reconstruct the visual, auditory, and olfactory dimensions of tombs by integrating archaeological excavation reports and Han Dynasty literature with VR/AR technology and multi-sensory feedback systems.
